A note on “Some results on multi-valued weakly Jungck mappings in \(b\)-metric space”. (English) Zbl 1294.47075
The paper by M. O. Olatinwo [Cent. Eur. J. Math. 6, No. 4, 610–621 (2008; Zbl 1175.47055)] contains three theorems involving three kinds of weakly Jungck mappings defined on a \(b\)-metric space. Unfortunately, each theorem contains an error in the proof, as the result of an incorrect use of one of the properties of a \(b\)-metric space. The authors, in the paper under review, have indicated where the errors are, and have provided correct results, using certain needed stronger conditions.
