Srinivasa Ramanujan: going strong at 125. II. (English) Zbl 1292.33002
This article is a continuation of [K. Alladi (ed.) et al., Notices Am. Math. Soc. 59, No. 11, 1522–1537 (2012; Zbl 1292.33001)]. Ken Ono writes about Ramanujan’s influence on the theory of modular forms, partitions and Mock theta functions. K. Soundararajan deals with highly nonelementary aspects of problems from elementary number theory, and R. C. Vaughan explains the method of Hardy-Littlewood-Ramanujan in analytic number theory. Finally, Ole Warnaar discusses Ramanujan’s \({}_1\psi_1\) summation as well as higher dimensional generalizations.
