Weighted Carlson mean of positive definite matrices. (English) Zbl 1290.65037
The author proposes weighted Carlson means based on a weighted version of the generalized permutation symmetrization procedure described by H. Lee and Y. Lim [Nonlinearity 21, No. 4, 857–878 (2008; Zbl 1153.15020)]. He shows that the sequence of \(n\)-tuple of positive definite matrices converge to a common limit, yielding a weighted Carlson mean of which all properties are described.
