The wave mechanism of mass transfer in metals under pulsed irradiation. (Russian. English summary) Zbl 1274.78010
On the base of the numerical solution to the integro-differential equation of a diffusion flow, the authors investigate the mass transfer of impurity particles from a metal surface into its volume due to the action of the high-energy beam of particles. It is found that the wave mechanism of mass transfer prevails over the diffusion mechanism.
