Analysis of the orientation correlation between 90\(^\circ\) domains in \(BaTiO_3\) and \(PbTiO_3\). (English. Russian original) Zbl 1253.82112

Summary: A method for determining the functional dependence between lattice parameters from the condition of orientation correlation between domains in ferroelastics and multiaxial ferroelectrics is proposed. The obtained analytical dependences are compared with experimental data on \(BaTiO_3\) and \(PbTiO_3\) for the \(m3mF4mm\) phase transition. It is shown that the domain structure in \(PbTiO_3\) is strained.
