Summary: The concept of super mean labeling was introduced in [6] and further discussed in [R. Ponraj and D. Ramya [Bull. Pure Appl. Sci., Sect. E, Math. Stat. 25, No. 1, 143–148 (2006; Zbl 1228.05255)]. In this paper, we introduce a new type of labeling called \(k\)-super mean labeling which is an extension of super mean labeling. In this paper, we investigate \(k\)-super mean labeling of some basic families of graphs.
