A numerical method for solving nonlinear integral equations. (English) Zbl 1203.65282
Authors’ abstract: An iterative scheme based on the homotopy analysis method is used to solve nonlinear integral equations. To check the numerical method, it is applied to solve different test problems with known exact solutions and the obtained numerical solutions confirm the validity of the numerical method and suggest that it is an interesting and viable alternative to existing numerical methods for solving the problem under consideration. Convergence is also observed.
