The nilpotent subgroups of symmetric group \(S_n\). (Chinese. English summary) Zbl 1199.20004
Summary: A method for computing the nilpotent subgroups of the symmetric group \(S_n\) is studied. By adding generators, the result that the symmetric group \(S_7\) has 5119 nilpotent subgroups is found. It shows that the method is effective.
