\(N\)-dimensional Bianchi type-I universe in creation-field cosmology. (English) Zbl 1187.85030

Summary: We have studied the Hoyle-Narlikar \(C\)-field cosmology with Bianchi type-I space-time in \(N\) dimensions. Using methods of J. V. Narlikar and T. Padmanabham [Phys. Rev. D 32, 1928 (1985; doi:10.1103/PhysRevD.32.1928)] , the solutions have been studied when the creation field \(C\) is a function of time \(t\) only. The geometrical and physical aspects for the model are also studied.
