Interactions of elementary waves for the Aw-Rascle model. (English) Zbl 1184.35208
The paper deals with the interaction of elementary waves for a traffic flow model, where the vacuum state is involved. A global solution for the perturbed initial value problem is constructed. It is noticed that in some particular situation, the Riemann solutions are stable with respect to the small perturbations of the initial data.
