A characterization of the inverse Radon transform associated with the classical domain of type one. (English) Zbl 1182.43013
Bezeichne \(M_{n,m}\) die Menge aller komplexen \(m\)-Matrizen. Sei \(M_m:= H_m\) die Menge aller Hermiteschen Matrizen in \(M_m\). Dann ist

ein Siegel-Gebiet vom Typ II und dessen Schilow-Rand eine nilpotente Lie-Gruppe \({\mathfrak N}\) von der Klasse 2.
In [Int. J. Math. 16, 875–887 (2005; Zbl 1079.43012)] hatten J. He und H. Liu eine Radon-Transformation \({\mathfrak R}\) auf \({\mathfrak N}\) definiert und eine Inversionsformel für \({\mathfrak R}\) angegeben, in Erweiterung des entsprechenden Resultats von R. S. Strichartz in [J. Funct. Anal. 96, No. 2, 350–406 (1991; Zbl 0734.43004)] für die Heisenberg-Gruppe. (Vgl. zu diesem Punkt auch die vom Referenten bewiesenen viel allgemeineren Resultate zur Radon-Transformation auf beliebigen nilpotenten Lie-Gruppen [R. Felix, Invent. Math. 112, No. 2, 413–443 (1993; Zbl 0798.44001)].) Die Inversionsformel gilt für alle Funktionen \(f\in L^2_{\mathfrak R}({\mathfrak N})\cap{\mathcal S}({\mathfrak N})\), wobei \({\mathcal S}({\mathfrak N})\) der Raum der Schwartz-Funktionen auf \({\mathfrak N}\) und \(L^2_{\mathfrak R}({\mathfrak N})\) ein dichter Unterraum von \(L^2({\mathfrak N})\) ist, auf dem \({\mathfrak R}\) eine Bijektion ist.
In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird ein Unterraum von \({\mathcal S}({\mathfrak N})\) konkret angegeben, auf dem \({\mathfrak R}\) eine Bijektion ist. Dieser Unterraum wird auf zwei unterschiedliche Arten charakterisiert.
Bekanntlich kann man, ausgehend von einer quadratisch integrierbaren unitären Darstellung, eine stetige Wavelet-Transformation konstruieren. Hier gehen die Autoren von einer quadratisch integrierbaren irreduziblen Teildarstellung der quasi-regulären Darstellung des semi-direkten Produktes \(\mathbb{T}\ltimes{\mathfrak N}\) aus, wobei \(\mathbb{T}\) die Gruppe der oberen Dreiecksmatrizen in \(M_m\) mit positiven Diagonalelementen ist, und erhalten auf diese Weise eine Wavelet-Transformation. Mit deren Hilfe gewinnen sie eine Inversionsformel für \({\mathfrak R}\), die für die zu \(L^2_{\mathfrak R}({\mathfrak N})\) gehörigen Funktionen des Darstellungsraumes im schwachen Sinn gilt. Für die Schwartz-Funktionen dieses Raums gilt die Inversionsformel punktweise.
