Evidential inference based on record data and inter-record times. (English) Zbl 1168.62003

Summary: Science looks at statistics for an objective measure of the strength of evidence in a given set of observations. We use a criterion defined as a combination of probabilities of weak and strong misleading evidence to do the comparisons between the record values and the same number of record values and inter-record times. Also, a simulation study is presented to illustrate the results.
