In this monograph the problem of wave propagation in composite materials is considered. This problem has rather wide area of application, for example, to predict the response of composite material to dynamic loading. To solve the problem under consideration the authors present classification of various self-consistent methods applied to the wave propagation problems, to develop general algorithms for applications, to verify the numerical methods.
