From lattice QCD to nuclear force. (English) Zbl 1149.81391

Summary: After a brief introduction to the phenomenological nucleon-nucleon (NN) potentials, the basic formulation of deriving the NN potential from lattice QCD simulations on the basis of the equal-time Bethe-Salpeter wave function is presented. The resultant non-local NN potential and its derivative expansion are discussed. Ongoing and planned studies on the lattice with quenched and full QCD simulations are summarized.
