Multiplicity results for second-order generalized Sturm-Liouville boundary value problems with dependence on the first order derivative. (English) Zbl 1140.34341
Summary: By using fixed point theorems, the authors consider the multiplicity of positive solutions for second-order generalized Sturm-Liouville boundary value problems, where the first order derivative is involved in the nonlinear term explicitly. The authors show the existence of multiple positive solutions for the problems. An example is given to illustrate the main results.
