Thermoelastic analysis of flexible shift shells in quasistatic approximation. (Ukrainian) Zbl 1122.74449

In this paper equations and boundary conditions of boundary-value problem for thermoelastic flexible isotropic shells with a deformable normal are constructed on the basis of geometrically nonlinear Timoshenko shell theory. The strain-displacement relations of this model are linear. Distribution of components of the rotation tensor with respect to the shell’s thickness is considered. An appropriate variational problem of static thermoelasticity for shells is formulated in terms of the Lagrange principle. Numerical example of thermoelastic equilibrium of a cylindrical shell under the axially symmetric thermal load illustrates the efficiency of the proposed model.
