Distributivity between uninorms. (English) Zbl 1118.03318
Summary: The problem of distributivity is of great interest both for particular as well as fundamental reasons. This relates for instance to the theory of binary operations like triangular norms and conorms and recently their generalizations, i.e., nullnorms and uninorms. In this contribution we simplify some assumptions and results about distributivity between uninorms. In particular, the assumptions of associativity and commutativity are not necessary in the consideration of distributivity equations.
