This paper deals with the notion of fuzzy compactness in intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces [D. Çoker, Fuzzy Sets Syst. 88, No. 1, 81–89 (1997; Zbl 0923.54001)]. Some basic facts are studied and a Tychonoff theorem is obtained.
