This book is a collection of 14 research papers devoted to experiences in clinical medicine and mathematical modeling of human brain functionality. The results were achieved in a military hospital in cooperation with some mathematical institutions, like Academy of Sciences and Moscow University. The contributions are of large variety. The topics are chosen from monitoring the psycho-physiological state of military men under difficult conditions, through modeling of blood flow in the human brain a “virtual brain” model. Methods that are used include partial differential equations, solid modeling, and statistical analysis.
