Shape-preserving \(C^3\) interpolation: The curve case. (English) Zbl 1018.65017
The authors present a method for the construction of shape-preserving curves interpolating a set of 3D dats. They use “quintic-like” spaces of polynomials splines with variable degree. Finally they give some graphical examples.
