Equilibrium of arch with obstacle. (Russian) Zbl 1012.74036
The authors consider the equilibrium of a plane elastic loaded arch with fixed edges in contact with an obstacle. Linear equilibrium equations are proposed, and the solution is found by the minimization of total energy functional of the deformed arch. Then a generalized problem is formulated, and its unique solvability is proven.
