Direct methods for infinite horizon predictive control. (Chinese. English summary) Zbl 1006.93535

Summary: In predictive control, the closed-loop stability can usually be guaranteed with infinite predictive horizon. This paper analyzes and takes advantage of an inherent feature of the algorithm, converts the above problem into a quadratic optimization procedure with equation constraints of partial states, and attains a direct method instead of an iterative one found in former methods.
