Stabilization of Euler-Bernoulli beam of free ends with locally distributed damping and boundary feedback. (Chinese. English summary) Zbl 0991.47027
Summary: The stabilization of nonhomogeneous Euler-Bernoulli beam with two ends free and locally distributed damping is studied. The authors take control as displacement and angle velocity acting on one end and prove the exponential decay of energy of the system by using multiplier technique in frequency domain method.
