Motions and worldline deviations in Einstein-Maxwell theory. (English) Zbl 0983.83007
Deviations for the worldlines of structureless particles in a background gravitational field is relatively straightforward since the particles travel on geodesics. This paper tackles the more difficult problem when the particle has spin or charge so that the worldlines are no longer geodesics. Some particular solutions are given and also a procedure for approximating other solutions.
