Controllability of abstract evolution systems with nonlocal initial data. (English) Zbl 0974.34060
General classes or abstract evolution equations with nonlocal initial conditions are investigated. Using the theory of linear semigroups and the fixed-point theory sufficient conditions for controllability are derived. These conditions are given depending on various growth assumptions on the data available. Some applications of the abstract theory are also given.
