On modelling advertisement in Cournot duopoly. (English) Zbl 0957.91066
Summary: A system of two firms is studied following Puu’s model of Cournot duopoly. Their competing advertisements are modelled. Chaos is observed if the advertisements’ parameters of both firms are close to each other. Chaos control formulae are given to control the chaos due to advertisements.
