Finite volume element methods for non-definite problems. (English) Zbl 0938.65131
For the 2-D and 3-D non-definite problems error estimates are derived for finite volume element methods. It is proved that the simple upwind scheme for the solution of this problem is unconditionally stable and has first-order accuracy.
