A degeneration of Leray spectral sequence by proper Kähler morphisms. (English) Zbl 0930.32015

This short paper presents several results of the author, whose proofs were published elsewhere [see Math. Ann. 303, No. 3, 389-416 (1995; Zbl 0843.32018)], on higher direct images of adjoint vector bundles on Kähler manifolds, by proper surjective morphisms.
These results extend to the Kählerian setting important theorems, mainly due to J. Kollar, concerning morphisms between algebraic varieties, of which the vanishing theorem of Grauert and Riemenschneider can be considered as a prototype.
