Group classification of the equations of two-dimensional motions of a gas. (English. Russian original) Zbl 0890.76071

J. Appl. Math. Mech. 58, No. 4, 629-635 (1994); translation from Prikl. Mat. Mekh. 58, No. 4, 56-62 (1994).
Summary: A generalization of the definition of an equivalence group is proposed, and a group classification of a system of equations describing the two-dimensional flows of an ideal gas is given. Plane flows, which were earlier investigated from the group point of view, are a special case of such motions.
