Analysis of some quadrilateral nonconforming elements for incompressible elasticity. (English) Zbl 0870.73074
Summary: Some nonconforming elements on arbitrary quadrilateral meshes for solving incompressible elastic equations are analyzed. A uniform optimal convergence rate is established in the incompressible limit \(\nu= 0.5\) for both displacements and stresses (or for pressure in the case of incompressible flow).
