A quasi-minimal residual variant of the Bi-CGSTAB algorithm for nonsymmetric systems. (English) Zbl 0803.65038
A new method called QMRCGSTAB is derived in this paper and based on the formula of QMRCGSTAB=QMR+(Bi-CGSTAB). The new method takes advantages of both the QMR method and the Bi-CGSTAB method and has a little improvement of convergence behavior of the Bi-CGSTAB method.
