Jourdain’s principle. (Das Jourdainsche Prinzip.) (German) Zbl 0797.70008

The note shows that the Jourdain principle has no advantage in comparison with the Lagrange principle. The principles of Lagrange (d’Alembert), Jourdain and Gauss are equivalent and identical.
