Strict stability criteria for impulsive differential systems. (English) Zbl 0797.34057

The purpose of this paper is to use comparison equations to study the stability properties of a class of impulsive differential systems. In particular, the authors are interested in concepts that they call “strict stability” which are refinements of the standard definitions of (Lyapunov) stability theory. These concepts are drawn from a previously published work of the first author. The theorems presented give sufficient conditions that the impulsive differential system inherit its stability property from the appropriate comparison equations.
