Three-dimensional adaptive mesh refinement for hyperbolic conservation laws. (English) Zbl 0793.65072
This is a descriptive account of how an adaptive mesh refinement algorithm may be used in solving systems of hyperbolic conservation laws. The method is illustrated by considering a particular case of a shock wave hitting a bubble of Freon-22. The results of the calculations are given.
