Examples of projective surfaces with many singularities. (English) Zbl 0785.14020
Let \(N(d)\) be the number of singularities of a surface in \(\mathbb{P}^ 3\) having only nodes as singularities and \(\mu(d)=\max(N(d))\). In the article a series of surfaces \(V_ d\) is constructed with \(N(d)\) large. The results are compared with other known examples.
