Summary: We prove the convergence of the multigrid method using the symmetric Kaczmarz iteration as its smoothing method for solving linear systems arising from the discretization of differential equations under the assumption of approximate properties link between the smoothing iterations and the finiteness of the coarsest grid in this multigrid method.
