Summary: The aim of this paper is to study the regularity of the solution of a minimum problem, using the imbedding theorems for Orlicz-Sobolev spaces. Applications of this result to the Dirichlet problem in the Hencky-Nadai theory and to the climatization problem in the torsion of cylindrical rods in the Hencky-Nadai theory are given.
