Reading, MA: Addison Wesley. xxi, 645 p. (1993).
For a review of the first edition (1986) see Zbl 0604.34001. In this third edition, the following three new sections have been added to the text: \(\S 4.9.\) Undetermined coefficients using complex arithmetic; \(\S 7.1.\) Introduction; \(\S 9.7.\) Dynamical systems, Poincaré maps, strange attractors, and chaos. In addition, a variety of new problems and “group projects” (some requiring the use of computer algebra packages) have been included into the exerrcises.
