Summary: Many authors have proved fixed point theorems for contraction type mappings on a complete metric space. In the present paper we prove a fixed point theorem for \(d\)-complete \(L\)-spaces which is a generalization of results of K. Iséki [Math. Semin. Notes, Kobe Univ. 3, No. 2 (1975; Zbl 0324.54022)] and of R. K. Pande.
