From the author’s abstract: “We identify subgroups of \(Y_{555}\) isomorphic to \(2^{1+26}\cdot(2^{24}: Co_ 1)\) and \((2^{10+16})^ 2\cdot O^ +_{10}(2):2\), both known subgroups of the Bimonster. We also outline a possible method of proving the isomorphism of \(Y_{555}\) and the Bimonster.” Here, the group \(G (=Y_{555})\) is given by a \(Y\)- like diagram each arm having length 5 radiating from a central node, such that its presentation has the Coxeter relations plus an additional relator.
