Calculation of flows of a radiative gas in axially symmetric nozzles of given form. (Russian) Zbl 0734.76050
A finite difference method is combined with an iterative procedure in order to calculate flows of a steady equilibrium spectrally radiative gas in an axially symmetric Laval’s nozzle. The author studies the influence of radiative transfer on the wall pressure and integral characteristics of the gas flow; the radiative transfer equation is approximated by a system of ten multi-group diffusion equations. The results obtained are plotted and discussed in detail.
