Compatibility relations as a representation of IF-THEN rules and their use in possibilistic inference. (English) Zbl 0726.68071
A production rule is presented by a compatibility relation. It is assumed that the IF part of the production rule is characterized by a possibility distribution. The author discusses an induced possibility distribution on the THEN part of the production rule.
