Solution of the problem of asymmetric conductor with a hole by finite element method using magnetic vector potential. (English) Zbl 0722.65080
Summary: A finite element formulation of Maxwell’s equation in terms of magnetic vector potential in order to solve some problems with source of electric current is presented. The vector potential is approximated by novel vector basis functions. This formulation is applied to solve both a magnetostatic and an electromagnetic field of the problem of asymmetric conductor with a hole.
