Étude en éléments finis de faisceaux de particules chargées. (Investigation of finite elements in charged particle beams). (French) Zbl 0687.76114

Summary: This paper presents a finite element code designed for the study of charged particle beams in static electromagnetic fields. This code currently works in 2 space dimensions (plane or axisymmetric) and takes into account the electric charge of the beam. Developments currently performed will allow the treatment of magnetostatic fields (external and beam-induced) and of fully three-dimensional problems.
