A protocol set is introduced for collision channels. A method of accessing a collision channel without feedback via protocol sequences is described. Some constructions of protocol sequences for multiple-access collision channels without feedback are presented based on the cyclic sets and binary cyclic constant weight codes. Procedures for active user identification, for frame-synchronization as well as for decoding messages of active users are given.
