The maximum principle in systems with delays of neutral type and phase constraints. (English. Russian original) Zbl 0669.34078

Sov. Math., Dokl. 36, No. 3, 498-501 (1988); translation from Dokl. Akad. Nauk SSSR 297, 538-542 (1987).
A Pontryagin maximum principle is stated for an optimal control problem for neutral functional differential equations with general state constraints and measure-valued controls. In addition, a result on the existence of optimal trajectories is formulated. No proofs are given; the author indicates that the state constraints are removed by means of a penalty approach.
