On the error of interpolation by local cubic splines. (Russian) Zbl 0667.41006
This paper derives exact estimates of the error of interpolation both for the interval \([x_ 1,x_{N-1}]\) and for the external intervals \([x_ 0,x_ 1]\) and \([x_{N-1},x_ N]\) and pointwise estimates of the error are given.
