Inspection errors in Graff-Roeloffs’ modification of hierarchical Dorfman screening procedures. (English) Zbl 0664.62104
L. E. Graff and R. Roeloffs’ [Technometric 14, 113-122 (1972)] modification of the R. Dorfman [Ann. Math. Stat. 14, 436- 440 (1943)] screening procedure,and their analysis of the effects of inspection error on properties of the procedure, is extended to hierarchical procedures, using the results of S. Kotz and N. L. Johnson [Commun. Stat., Theory Methods 11, 1997-2016 (1982; Zbl 0491.62087)].
