BRST quantization of the spinning particle. (English) Zbl 0662.46083
Using rigged Hilbert space techniques, the spinning particle is BRST quantized. It is shown that there is a unique admisible Hermitian form on the extended phase space. With respect to it, the BRST operator is anti- Hermitian. The doubling of the BRST cohomology is removed by choosing a subspace on which the Hermitian form is positive definite.
