Concerning the relationship between the endomorphism ring and the automorphism group of an Abelian p-group, it is known that the automorphism group need not generate the full endomorphism ring. In the present paper, the author proves an analogous result for reduced torsion- free modules over a complete discrete valuation ring R, where 2 is a unit in R.
